Autobiographical notes
Color works so stronger than it is easier. "
Matisse.
It is difficult to convey in words the experience, mental state, already expressed in the work of the artist. One of them did not have long left me - feeling themselves simultaneously on the ground and in the vast space of the universal light-emitting. Light - a hope, common thread, love. In each of us burns a particle of Light - our soul. And each of my work - an appeal to Heaven and Earth. In the infinite expanse - ascendant ascended moan, abandoned villages and covered under the snow, as cemeteries. Vanishing Russia. This pain I can only pass through the main expressive tool for me - made up to a limit voltage color. Work on the tapestry - it is a hard hard work. At the same time weaving can not be only a technical process. Tapestry for me - part of the universe, enclosed in a frame work, but not limited to, developing and continuing in the space. During the work it grows as naturally and freely as a plant. This is my thought process, my energy is invested in every thread. It is important to preserve this momentum for the whole long way to work and pass it through the color. Saturation and color depth is increased because the texture of weaving. Its strength is revealed only when contrast between colors. It is important to find an extremely simple, concise, "a poster short" solution, which increases the brightness of the local color, while not diminishing its energy nuances, tones and chiaroscuro.
