Autobiographical notes
I'm still working on the series, depicting animals, worshiped ancient Veps. For Vepsians Zaonezh'ja, for example, a sacred animal was the deer - there is a belief that it protects the village from the bear and wolf, and therefore did not kill him. Duck was considered a symbol of the sun at night, and a horse - the symbol of the sun day. This pagan shrines, and so we all share and understand.
I believe that society is absolutely not changed. People worship the television, tape recorder, money, and various beautiful things - anything, but not the soul and not God ... We all - the Gentiles are inherently. By the way, beautiful pictures - it is also paganism.

Vladimir Fomin - integrated aesthetic system based on the principles of primitive art. It embodied the characteristics of many kinds of art primarily of the Finno-Ugric peoples. It also reflected the traditions of Russian cartoon lubok, which originated in Karelia in the XII century.
