Autobiographical notes

Born in a family of artists. Father Shterenberg David P. and his mother Mary Granavtseva Stepanovna were excellent painters (of them are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum).

. In those years, it required a realistic spatial images. In 1967 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR in the section graphics. In the same year he started to paint again and after a few years (in 1975) moved to the section of the painting, as well as participated in exhibitions of paintings has only. Started in painting was in the spirit of expressionism, as a response to withering my work in books for older children.
It was as if I broke free, but did not last long. While working for the most part continue to do for themselves "and" selfless ", tasks that I began to set, required for an intelligible presentation of aesthetic thought of another approach.
