He graduated from the course in the Lazarev Institute of Oriental Languages in 1897, a course of medicine at Moscow University, received the title of doctor, a. in 1904 passed an examination for a full course of Science Faculty of Law and was left to cook in the department of criminal law and procedure at Moscow University.
