. In 1823, he was already an extraordinary professor, and several years as dean and provost of the medical faculty, and from 1842 to 1848 and from 1850 to 1863 years - the rector of the University. In 1830 - 1850 years served as chief physician of the Moscow Orphanage. A. was not a theoretician, and almost did not write, but became known for its successful operation, particularly skilled in lithotomy.
