Biography Andreev Konstantin
Born in Moscow on March 14, 1848, as a child lost one eye that did not prevent him to the brilliant achievements in mathematics and to attract the attention of professors A.YU. Davydov, VY. Zinger and NV. Bugaev. In 1875 he defended his master's thesis: "On a geometric formation of planar curves", in 1879 - Doctor: "On the geometric correspondences in relation to questions about the construction of curved lines". In 1884 he was elected by the Academy of Sciences Corresponding Member. He was Chairman of the formed in 1879 in Kharkov University Mathematical Society and editor of his works. The author is famous treatise "The basic course of analytical geometry" (3 editions) and a collection of exercises on analytic geometry.
