Biography Badmayev Alexander
(before the adoption of Orthodoxy Siltim), Lecturer in the Mongolian language at St. Petersburg University, a native of eastern Siberia, Buriat, a former senior lama Achinsk steppe thoughts. Died in 1873. Since 1853 B. became known for his knowledge in traditional Tibetan medicine and they happily practice among Nerchinsk Buryat. In 1866 B. was appointed lecturer at the Mongolian language at St. Petersburg University. After his death, his extensive medical practice turned to his brother. - Peter A. B., younger brother and pupil of the preceding, born 1849, studied at some time in the Medical Surgical Academy and received the right medical practice. Treats all diseases of some kind of special, they themselves produce the powders, as well as herbs, despite the sneers of physicians, to B. flock to huge number of patients.
