born December 25, 1858. Moscow. Music education in the Moscow Conservatory with Professors Cosman, Fittsengagena etc.. Gave first public abroad in Angers in 1881, in a concert conducted by Saint-Saens. Since 1883. often participated in various large concerts in Paris, in 1884 and 1885 performed with great success in London. In 1886. founded in Paris with Marsico Quartet. Since 1890. Brandukov lives in Moscow, where he enjoys great popularity as a cello virtuoso, is director of the Music School of Moscow Philharmonic Society.
