Biography Vasilchikov Hilarion V.
(1776 - 1847). Commanding Akhtyrsky hussar regiment participated in the affairs of 1807 g. when Serock and Pultusk and in 1812. in the battle of Borodino, where he was wounded. In 1812 - 14 years commanded the 4 th Cavalry Corps, with Kayzersvalde was again wounded. In 1817, Mr.. Vasilchikov was appointed commander of a separate Guards Corps, in 1823, Mr.. - A member of the Council of State. During the events of December 1825, Mr.. Vasilchikov was with the emperor at the Senate Square and seeing the futility of attempts to reason with the crowd, advised to resort to the canister. In march 1828, Mr..
