Biography Vladykin Mikhail
Born in 1830, a young man joined the troupe of Moscow's Maly Theater, and later was active in the club scene. Vladykin was at one time county chembarskim Marshal of the Nobility. Died Feb. 24, 1887, bequeathing, among other things, several thousands of their former serfs. He wrote the following separately published pieces: "Worldly Stage", a comedy (Moscow, 1873), "Have to be a masquerade, maps. (St. Petersburg, 1873) and the comedy "Who vinovatN" (St. Petersburg, 1873), "Two times two is five" (St. Petersburg, 1876), "Merchant-meadowsweet" (St. Petersburg, 1880), "Whirlpool" , comedy (St. Petersburg, 1880); "happy marriage" (Moscow, 1880). The greatest success was comedy "Whirlpool". In addition to plays, it belongs: "The dramatic sketches" (Moscow, 1857) and "guide and companion on a journey to the Caucasus (Moscow, 1874, 2 edition, 1885). M. M.
