Biography Demert Nikolai
(1835 - 1876). After graduating from the Faculty of Kazan University, was a peace mediator, then chairman of Chistopol county governments. Before moving to St. Petersburg he had printed the story "From a student's memories" ( "Moscow Journal", 1860) and the comedy "The governess third-class music" ( "Contemporary", 1861), he also wrote in The Moscow News "and" Entertainment ". In St. Petersburg he was in St. Petersburg Vedomosti (Korsch) provincial office and wrote in other publications. The main theme of his journalism was zemstvo. He constantly monitored the Zemsky business throughout Russia and devoted his monthly chronicle of "Notes of the Fatherland", called "Our public affairs". It also placed a lot of his other articles (under the couch or Demert): "On our zemstvo schools", "Zemstvo and the clergy," "The new will," "On the blame on others" and other.
