Biography DERFELDT Anton Antonovich
(1810 - 1869). Father Derfeldta caused by the Emperor Alexander I of Bohemia to compile in Russia chorus military musicians, was the first Russian conductor Guard troops and founder of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society. Upon completion of the course Derfeldt without asking permission of the Russian government, participated in the conquest of Algeria. Earning the Legion of Honor, he returned to Russia where he was imprisoned as a deserter in Warsaw dungeon, and then exiled to the Caucasus, a private in the Nizhny Novgorod Dragoon Regiment. Here Derfeldt was admitted to the society officers, arranged concerts and musical evenings. In 1844, Mr.. name Derfeldta become so popular that he was offered the post of assistant conductor Guard troops. In 1850, . the death of the conductor and musical Inspector of the St. Petersburg Guard District, . Haase, . Derfeldt took his place, shifting the military brass band for all kinds of musical pieces, . scores are performed, and until now has prepared the first military and orchestral soloists, wrote songs, . enjoyed success in its time, . and also worked in music magazines, he published a lapsed with his death, Russia's only orchestral Journal,
