Biography Zatsepin Ivan Yakovlevich
Former professor of the Moscow medico-surgical academy. In 1816, Mr.. enrolled student in St. Petersburg Medico-Surgical Academy, and in 1820, Mr.. transferred to the Moscow medico-surgical academy, where he completed a doctoral course in 1823, received his medical degree, Zatsepin entered first teacher and librarian, then a junior doctor at the Moscow Cadet Corps. In 1835, Mr.. was elected an associate professor of therapeutic clinic and sent abroad for 2 years. Upon returning from the trip began to read the encyclopedia of medicine, and in 1840, Mr.. elected as a full professor and academic secretary. At the close of the Moscow medico-surgical academy Zatsepin remained a staff physician and enrolled in the Moscow International Institute, and later a doctor at the gymnasium, where he remained until his death in 1865. Zatsepin stood out among his fellow talented abilities and a great stock of knowledge. He owned many European languages and has left a number of original and translated works on medicine. In addition, since 1837. Zatsepin published the "Journal of Therapeutics, one of the first medical authorities.
