Biography Kozelsky Jacob P.
(born in 1735).
Taught the mechanics in the artillery and the artillery and engineering corps gentry, was a "writer" in the directional commission on a new Code. His main works: "Arithmetic" (St. Petersburg, 1764), "Mechanical proposals" (St. Petersburg, 1764 and 1787); "Velesan" (tragedy, St. Petersburg., 1778), "Philosophical proposals" (St. Petersburg, 1768) -- first system of philosophy, coming from the pen of a Russian author. In theoretical philosophy Kozelskii should Baumeister, and in practice - Montesquieu, Helvetius, and especially Rousseau. - See. Stolpyansky, "One of the obscure figures of Catherine's time, Jacob P.
