Biography KONISSKY Alexander
(1836 - 1900). He studied at the Lyceum Nezhin; in the early 60-ies was deported to Vologda, then Totma, on charges of Ukrainophilism. Later in Kiev and other cities involved in the legal profession. Zealous nationalist, he was in the press, and various petitions upheld the Little-Russian as the language of literature and the school is on the Little Russian language textbooks, and other chitanki, fussing about the device Sunday school and had worked in them. In 1861, published several articles in the "basis" and then wrote lyric poems, drama and novel. Most of all he succeeded in a small fictional stories. The best of his story: "Naymichka", "Popov pear", "Simon Beetle", "Cheteri evening," Kazennyi Mlyn "," Jurij Gorovenko ". The largest article Konisskogo of Galicia in the Journal of Europe "(1886, V) and Shevchenko in Russian Thought (1894). He is the most complete biography of Shevchenko.
