Kraevich Konstantin

(1833 - 1892). He graduated from the course in the main pedagogical institute. He taught in public schools, military academies, in the Mining Institute and the Naval Academy, has made textbooks of physics, algebra and cosmography, endure a lot of publications. From 1876 to 1882, Mr.. published a pedagogical magazine "Family and School". His research in physics are placed mainly in the Journal of Russian Physico-Chemical Society. He invented a special form of barometer (now often used), which allows to ascertain the presence of air over the mercury and remove it. His article on the vapor pressure in the saturated state is placed in 1894. in "Philosophical Magasine" (t. 37).
