Biography Laskovsky Ivan
(1799 - 1855). Considered one of the finest pianists of the highest Petersburg society. First Laskovsky compositions for piano (ecossaise, mazurkas, waltzes) published in the journal "Harpe du Nord" (St. Petersburg, 1822 - 1825). In 1832, Mr.. Laskovsky with Norov issued a "lyrical album, where, besides the works of Glinka, Norov, A.S. Griboyedov were printed and its own nocturne, scherzo, waltz and quadrille, curious in historical terms. Complete Collection of piano works Laskovsky published in Petrograd (22 mazurkas, 13 waltzes, nocturnes, scherzo, minuet, song without words, sketches, ballad, variations on two Russian songs and t. etc.). Works of these are related to the spirit of Chopin and Field, sometimes revealing the influence of German classics. Chamber works Laskovsky (string quartet and so on.) Remained in manuscript.
