Lenz Aemilius Hristianovich

(1804 - 1865). In 1823 - 1826 years participated as a physicist in the round-trip Kotzebue. The research results of the expedition published them in "Memoirs of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences" (1831). He was a member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences and a professor of St. Petersburg University. His leadership of physics (for high schools) and physical geography reprinted several times.
