Neff, Timothy A.

(1805 - 1876) was born in Estland. He studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. Arriving in 1826. St. Petersburg, soon became known for his portraits and other works. In 1837, Mr.. traveled to Russia to get acquainted with the popular types and life. In 1839, Mr.. executed paintings for the small church of the Winter Palace, including the image of the "Last Supper". In response to images of St. Isaac's Cathedral became a professor.
