Biography Ostrogradsky Mikhail
(1801 - 1861), ordinary academician. He received his early education in a boarding school in Poltava. He graduated from the course, Faculty of Mathematics at Kharkov University, then attended lectures in Paris at the Sorbonne and College de France. Here he attracted the attention of famous mathematicians Laplace, Fourier, Ampere, Poisson, Cauchy. In 1826, Mr..
