Biography Politkovsky Fedor Gerasimovich
1753 - 1809
Initial education in Chernigov seminary in 1774. enrolled in school at Moscow University, then went to medical school at the end of which was sent to Leyden. Having stayed here for 2 years, defended his thesis for doctor of medicine ( "De Puogenia", 1781), then moved to Paris, where, after spending as 2 years with a focus on chemistry and physics. Upon his return in 1783, Mr.. Moscow was appointed professor of natural history, and in 1785. extraordinary professor, engaged with students in mineralogy, zoology and botany, in 1788, Mr.. ordinary professor, and in 1802. moved to the chair of practical medicine and chemistry, while remaining the director of the university museum and the reading public lectures on natural history. Of his literary works known: Pissisa translation of the book: "Science to preserve their health, . or Guide to Health "(1806), . Short review of medical science until the time Kulena "(published after his death in 1818) and the remainder of the manuscript translated from French into Latin," Turtelleva Nosologiya ",
