Biography Ibn Labban
(Abu al-Hasan ibn Kushyar Labban Bashahri ibn al-Gili) (ca. 970 - OK. 1030) Native Gilan. Among his works: "Overall Zij", "Guide to the astrolabe," Treatise on the astrolabe and the choice [days], "" On the comprehensive science of astronomy ", etc.. Of particular importance is his "Book of the imposition of sentences in the art stars," consisting of 4 books: 1) the principles of art, 2) predictions about world affairs, and 3) predictions about the fate of the people of their birth, and 4) the selection of favorable days.
