Biography Camerarius Joachim
(Camerarius; present. Pham. Libhard; Liebhard) . (12.04.1500 <in the Harz - 11.04., 22:15> Bamberg - 17.04.1574, Leipzig) . German philologist, a Lutheran theologian, an expert on church history professor at Nuremberg, Tubingen and Leipzig, the biographer of Melanchthon, the author of works on the history of Christ and the apostles, translator and publisher of the works of ancient Greek authors . In 1535, Mr.. in Nuremberg, he undertook the first ever edition of the original Greek text "Tetrabiblosa K. Ptolemy with his own translation of the Latin language and their own commentary. In 1553, Mr.. in Basel, he released the second edition of the Greek text of this classic work on astrology, this time with a Latin translation of Melanchthon.
