Biography Rajic, Semen Ye
He served as a teacher of Russian literature at Moscow university hostel in Moscow and other educational institutions. One of those modest bestalantnyh, but hard-working activists, the memory of which, or disappears, or (as happened with Tredyakovsky) bring a smile. He has published anthologies: "New Aonidy" (1823) and "North Lear" (with Oznobishin) published the magazine "Galatea", which, incidentally, wrote Pushkin. His poems, most transferable, Rajic placed in its publications, in the almanac "Urania" and "Moskvityanin". Of the original poems, which is characterized by a clumsy form and content of melancholy, to be known one: "Friends" ( "Do not be surprised, my friends, not just among you merry at the feast, I become thoughtful ..."). Heavy poems he translated Virgilievy "Georgics" (1821), . "The frantic Orlando Ariosto and the" Jerusalem Delivered, Tasso (1828), . one line which, . related to Godfrey of Bouillon, . received notoriety ( "boiled broth, . flows in the Temple "), . See.
