Francesco Borromini (Borromini Francesco)

Borromini was born in Lombardy in Bisson, September 25, 1599. His real name - Castelli (Castelli). Studied under Carlo Maderno in Rome. Mason worked on the construction of the Cathedral of St.. Peter then worked with Bernini in the building of the Palazzo Barberini (1625-1663). His first independent work - the church of San Carlo alle Quatro Fontane in Rome (1634-1641, facade - 1662-1667). Works of Borromini - one of the vertices of Baroque architecture.
