Charles the Bold

(1433-1477)
Born in Dijon, November 10, 1433. In 1467 Philip died, and Charles inherited his title and possession. Handsome and brave, Carl has earned the nickname Brave (Tmraire better translated as 'Desperado') for their courage, often verging on recklessness. In 1468 he married his third marriage to Margaret, sister of King Edward IV. Karl intended to unite their lands, capturing Lorraine and other areas of merging them, and then planned to establish between France and Germany, the new kingdom, which would have stretched from the valley of the Saone to the North Sea. Over the years, Charles managed to prevail over its main enemy - the king of France Louis XI, but eventually managed to create a coalition against Charles.
