Biography LABERTONER Lucien (Laberthonnire Lucien)
(1860-1932)
Born Shazli October 5, 1860. He was educated in Roman Catholic seminaries in Saint-Gautier and Burge. In 1886, became a priest and joined the Oratorio. Was professor of philosophy at the college in Zhyuyi (1886), a year later led the school in Massiyone, and in 1900 returned to Zhyuyi and became director of the college, where he taught before. Here Labertoner worked until 1903 - the year of the dissolution of the Oratory. In 1905 he took over the leadership of the magazine "Annals of Christian philosophy '(' Annales de philosophie chrtienne ') and served this function until 1913, when the magazine was introduced by the Vatican in the' Index of banned books'.
In his views Labertoner was close to Blondel, in 1893 he read a book by Blondel Effects (L'action), which provided him a very strong influence. In his books Labertoner offers a new approach to religious issues, criticized the scholastic thinking. In 1897 his first important work of the religious problems (Le problme religieux). The central issue has become for him the question about the nature of faith, which he associated with the experience of inner, spiritual life, speaking out against intellectualism. In this paper, Christian realism and idealism, Greek (Le ralisme chrtien et l'idalisme grec, 1904) investigated Labertoner opposition abstract idealism of Greek philosophy and ideas of a personal God of Christianity. Criticizing the scholastic tradition in the spirit of Augustine argued that the true metaphysics is based on mercy, presupposing the identity of the love of self, to others and to God and giving an opportunity of this solidarity between people. Personalistskaya concept of religion was developed by him in the works of experiments on religious philosophy (Essais de philosophie religieuse, 1903); Dogma and theology (Dogme et thologie, 1908) and others. Books Labertonera repeatedly been condemned by the Catholic censors. Once work certificate issued by them martyrs (Tmoignage des martyrs, . 1912) and by the way Catholicism (Sur le chemin du catholicisme, . 1913) were made to the 'Index of prohibited books', . Labertoneru was forbidden to continue to publish any of his writings,

Labertoner died in Paris on October 6, 1932. After his death were published, . without any obstacles from the Catholic Church, .
