Biography THREE Herbert Beerbohm (Tree Herbert Beerbohm)
(1853-1917) Born December 17, 1853 in London, the brother of the famous writer and cartoonist M. Birboma. First actor's success was the role of vicar Three in a farce W. Gillet Private Secretary (The Private Secretary, 1884). Three years later he opened the theater 'comedy' and became the head of his, . but soon moved to the theater 'Heymarket', . where he successfully played in the plays of William Shakespeare, and RB Sheridan, . as well as new repertoire (A woman, . not worth mentioning O. Wilde, . scenic arrangement of the novel Dzh.Dyumore Trilbi), . Among the actors' successes - King John Falstaff, Shylock, Cardinal Woolsey, Stockman (H. Ibsen's Enemy of the People), Feigin of Oliver Twist, Micawber, Peggotty, and in the staging of David Copperfield Charles Dickens. In 1904 the three founded the London School of Dramatic Art, later converted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1909 he was elevated to the noble rank. Three died in London on July 2, 1917.
