. Born March 12, 1918 in Moscow in a working class family. Russian. Member of the CPSU since 1943. Graduated from the 7 classes of secondary. He worked as collector of aircraft engine plant. In the Red Army in 1937. Graduated from the 2-S Borisoglebsk Red Banner Military Aviation Pilot School Chkalov in 1938.
. Member of the campaign in western Ukraine in 1939 and the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940.
. Member of the Great Patriotic War from June 1941.
. W tion of the Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and medal "Gold Star" Alexey A. Gubanov awarded on Aug. 24, 1943 over 358 sorties and shot down 14 enemy planes.
. The war ended in Prague
. All made 550 sorties, 105 combat aircraft shot down in person 28 and in Group 9 enemy aircraft.
Fter the war he continued to serve in the Air Force. In 1951 he graduated from the Red Banner Air Force Academy. Since 1973, the Guard Colonel Gubanov - in stock. He lived in Voronezh. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, 2 orders of the Red Banner, Order of Alexander Nevsky, Order of the Patriotic War of 1 degree, 3 orders of Red Star and medals.
