Biography PATSIAN (Pacianus)
Patsian; Pacianus, from Barcelona, IV in. n. e., Latin Christian writer. Bishop of Barcelona, one of the first Christian writers of Spain. Wrote three letters to Simpronianu, speech on baptism and the call to repentance (Paraenesis, sive exhortatorius libellus ad paenitentiam). Lost work deer (Cervus), opposition to pagan rituals.
