Research interests: the first five years after graduation, worked on the construction of the Bratsk Power Complex. In 1967. moved to the research work in the laboratory of bases and foundations of the Krasnoyarsk PromstroyHIIproekta. Researched physical and mechanical properties of permafrost soils as bases structures, working in various regions of the North (Western Siberia, Yakutia, Magadan region, etc.). Another area of interest - mechanics of frozen soils and foundation engineering. Results of work in these areas are widely used in the practice of building. Thus, the data of laboratory and field tests of alluvial soils formed the basis for the design and construction of new neighborhoods, Mr.. Yakutsk. I decided a number of theoretical problems of mechanics of frozen soils, in t.ch. developed a methodology for the use of temporary analogies for forecasting long-term deformation and strength, . obtain an equation long-term strength of frozen soil on the basis of the kinetic theory of strength of solids, . found a solution to address the scale factor when testing frozen soils,
