Biography Maria PRIMARCHENKO Aksentevna
Maria Aksentevna Primachenko (genus. 1909). 'Makes the sun flowers, . because people love, . I make the joy, . to make people happy, . that all people of a loved one, . To dwell, . like flowers in all the land ...'- says of his well-known Ukrainian amateur painter Maria Primachenko, . a kind of creativity which is filled with the breath of his native land, . warmed with kindness and wisdom of folk poetry.,

. Born Maria Aksentevna Primachenko in Polessye village Marsh
. From his mother, embroiders, she took over the ability to create the magic, which is characteristic for the Ukrainian masters ornament, which, in the words of Gogol, 'Birds fall like flowers, birds and flowers'. First its decorative compositions, she began creating, transferring to canvas and paper, the motives of traditional wall paintings, embroideries.

. In the work of talented rural umelitsy drew the attention of the Kiev artist Tatiana Flora, collected in 1935 samples for an exhibition of folk art
. In the same year Primachenko starts in experimental workshops at the Kiev State Museum, along with such artists as Tanya Pat Paraska Vlasenko, Natalia Vovk. Gradually, her work receive recognition. At the exhibitions in Kiev, Moscow, Paris, Warsaw, Sofia, Montreal demonstrated her drawings 'black beast', 'Blue Lion', 'Beast in the golden boots', 'Dog in the cap', 'Mermaids dance', 'Golden berries' and etc.

. When war broke out, Maria Primachenko returned to his native village, sharing with their fellow villagers difficulties of occupation and the joy of victory, which gave new force for creativity.

. Particularly fruitful for the artist was a period of late 50's and early 60-ies
. In 1960, during the Days of Ukrainian art and literature in Moscow, her work, exhibited at the exhibition of arts and crafts, bring her great success: she was awarded the Order "Badge of Honor '.

. In 1960-1965 the artist working on a new cycle-'Lyudyam for joy ', which included the work of' Sunflower ',' Blue pot with flowers', 'Firebird', 'Dove Kalin', 'peacock with flowers', 'Lion' and others
. During this cycle of Mary Primachenko was awarded the title of laureate of State Prize of USSR T. G. Shevchenko.

. Already in the title is visible folk-poetic basis of creativity Primachenko, . but her pictures is not just an illustration of folk tales and songs, . a unique variation on their themes, . interwoven with reflections on the artist's life around,
. 'I love to draw, as people working in the field, as young people are like poppies in bloom. I love all living things, like drawing flowers, various birds and beasts of the forest. Putting them in people's clothes, and they are happy with me, as many dance ... '

. Although the works Primachenko much in common with folk art, ritual figured baking, embroidery, wall paintings, it shaped the system completely individual and unique
. It is self-painter, and this distinguishes it from many nameless masters, the creators of traditional folk art. The reason for this can be seen in the general process of individualization of folk art, . which is characteristic of our time, . and 'alternative' materials, . enjoyed by the artist (drawing paper, . Gouache, . Watercolor, . weasel brushes) - they give explanations of the ancient wall painting machine-susceptibility and modern pictorial and poetic meaning.,

. But mostly, perhaps, is the very nature of the artist's talent, a very special compilation of real principle of decorative forms, allowing the complexity and diversity of a particular shape of things to extract a uniform core of their essence
. That is why the seeming simplicity of the image turns into the richness and depth of content.

. Thus, bouquets in the figures Primachenko is not just a still life and not just a decoration, but a kind of generalized image of flowers, expressing a certain system of feelings, whether the joy of childhood, or admiration for the generosity of the earth
. Its' Forest Bouquet 'gives birth to the memory of the forest warmed by the sun,' Flowers of my haty'-reminiscent of a pleasant smile welcoming hostess.

. In the late 60-ies Primachenko comes to creating not just a fairy tale, as symbolic and allegorical compositions,'Strashnaya war ', their milk is, and someone else's opened his mouth'
. These images of grief, human vices are living in terrible world devoid of color, breathing life into a world where there is no good and beauty. Flowers are not juicy and bright, as it were, the shadows, the ghosts of flowers, deprived of the breath of life.

. The most important expressive tool in the works Primachenko-color, which is not just a shell, and the bearer of the essence of an object (so the viewer can easily be reconciled with its conventionality)
. Color is not the planes, but is plastic, animated, sometimes this is achieved at the expense of expressiveness of color combinations. For example, in the decorative panels 'bonnet' contrast of green and blue and blue gives the impression of twinkling night, coolness, which is reinforced by outbreaks of red, hot, like a candle flame, 'hearts' colors.

. In his story work-'Kot on the road ',' Maroussia flax spinning ',' reaping a Cossack woman and a young Cossack 'Primachenko finds interesting compositional device that meets the overall decorative structure of her works
. Figure is divided into the plans, following one after the other. Despite the seeming flatness of the image interaction of these plans creates a spatial effect, through which many objects are placed casually on the plane pictures, not downloading it. This ability to find the correct composition solution Primachenko inherent by nature, as well as a sense of rhythm, plasticity and color lines, the harmony of the whole.

. Not so long ago the work Primachenko appeared before the audience in his new as-in illustrations of children's books published in Kiev Publishers 'Phallus' in the early 70-ies
. Illustrations of children's books reveal another facet of talent, folk artist, to conquer his joyous spontaneity, its proximity to the world of children's imagination, an organic fusion of words and images.
