Biography Kirshon, Vladimir Mikhailovich
Kirshon, Vladimir Mikhailovich (6.8.1902, Nalchik - 28.7.1938), writer. Educated in the Communist Institute behalf YA.M. Sverdlov (1923). In 1918, joined the Red Army in 1920 - in the RCP (b). Served with agitation plays, wrote Komsomol songs. In 1923-25 - on Party work. In 1925, one of the leaders of RAPP (Association of Proletarian Writers), was among the most radical writers. Plays "rails humming" (1928) and "Wonderful fusion" (1934) - apologetic glorification of Stalin's "socialist construction". In 1931 published the play "Windy City" of the 26 Baku commissars and "Bread" on the struggle for socialism in the example of grain. In his works praised I.V. Stalin - "a new type of leader, a staunch Bolshevik" and extolled the collectivization. 26/5/1937 expelled from the board of the Union of Writers. In 1937, along with LL. Averbach among the most orthodox communist writers arrested, accused of belonging to the Trotskyist group in the literature ". Sentenced to death. Shot. In 1956 he was rehabilitated, and his plays were again taken to the statement.
