Biography AMAN Max (Amann)
Aman, Max (Amann), (1891-1957), Reichsleiter, president of the Imperial House Press (from 1933). Born November 24, 1891 in Munich, Catholic. During the 1-st World War II he served in the Bavarian Infantry Regiment, was a sergeant-major - immediate supervisor Corporal Adolf Hitler. He was awarded the Iron Cross II degree. In 1921 he became the first manager of the affairs of the Nazi party, and after 1922 was director of the Central Publishing NSDAP - Eher Verlag. While in Landsberg prison, Hitler titled his notes rather bulky and hard to swallow - "Four and a half years struggle against lies, stupidity and cowardice". Aman, becoming the publisher of the book, changed its name to "Mein Kampf (My Struggle). In addition, in his hands was more than half of all German newspapers.
