GRIMM, Hans (Grimm)

Grimm, Hans (Grimm), (1875-1959), one of the most famous writers of the Third Reich. Born March 22, 1875 in Wiesbaden. At the same time, he expressed doubts about the Nazi revolutionary radicalism, petty-bourgeois leadership and the idea of mass of followers. Declaring the creative independence, Grimm nevertheless supported the Nazis came to power, welcomed the early successes of Hitler, such as the Anschluss of Austria.
