Biography Ernst Heinkel (Heinkel)
Heinkel, Ernst (Heinkel), (1888-1958), German aircraft designer. Born January 24, 1888 in Grunbahe (Wц?rttemberg). In 1911 he graduated from the Technische Hochschule in Stuttgart. In 1913-22 worked as chief designer of a number of aircraft manufacturer. For years 1 - World War II Heinkel has created more than 30 types of aircraft employed by the armies of Germany and Austria. In 1922 he founded the aircraft manufacturer in Warnemц?nde, existed until 1945. The company produces more than 100 types of aircraft (training, coaching, scouts, bombers, fighters, etc.).
