Comments for Max Stirner
Biography Max Stirner
Max Stirner (1806-1856), alias Caspar Schmidt - German idealist philosopher, founder of the anarchist individualism, belonged to the Young Hegelians. In 1845 he released his book "Only One and His Property", which developed a system of anarchism. The only reality of Stirner - that "I", an egotist, but the whole world - its property. The concepts of morality, law, law society, and t. d. Stirner discarded and declared "ghosts". Stirner believed that it clears the individual consciousness from the "shy shell". Each is itself a source of morality and law. Guidelines for the individual should be that "nothing is above me". Private ownership of Stirner should be retained, as it expresses the identity of "I". Social ideal Stirner - "union of egoists" in which each sees the other only a means to achieve their goals. Looking at history as a product of ideas, Stirner believed that overcoming the prevailing notion, you can change the social relations. Stirner strongly opposed communism and the revolutionary struggle of the proletariat. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in one of his first world famous books "The German Ideology" (1844) provide space to criticism of the speculative idealism of Stirner.
