Biography Demeter
Demeter (son of George I). Demeter was the son of George I of the second wife - ALDE, daughter of the Ossetian king. Before his death, George gave Dametre and ALDE Anakopia stronghold in the north-west of Georgia in Abkhazia. This fortress of mother and son passed Byzantium after moved to Constantinople. Byzantium tried to oppose Dametre Bagrat IV, but that plan failed. According to historians XVIII century Vakhushti, a direct descendant of Demeter in the male line was the second husband of Tamara - David exiled.
