Sertab Erener, which is considered the voice soprano Turkish pop music, was born in 1964. As a child she suffered a very severe disease and this is reflected in its first steps in music. In childhood, she took piano lessons and, furthermore, all noticed that her voice was beautiful. These initial conditions and enable it to continue their education after primary and secondary schools in the State Conservatory of Istanbul University.
