Biography Fortunato Alexei Mikhailovich
Fortunatov (Aleksey Mikhailovich) - Professor of the University of Kazan, the son of a priest. Born in 1850. In 1876, Mr.. graduated from the course at St. Petersburg University, the natural category of physics and mathematics. In 1884, Mr.. awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine of the Imperial Military Medical Academy. From 1876 to 1891 he. consistently acted as a laboratory assistant and conservator dissector at Department of Anatomy, Histology and physiology at the St. Petersburg University. That took place there as assistant professor (1885 - 1891) in the department of human anatomy and also read the general course of histology. In 1891, Mr.. appointed extraordinary professor in the department of normal anatomy at the Medical Faculty of the Imperial Kazan University, where he was full professor. Died in 1905.
