Wendy Wasserstein

Wasserstein, Wendy (Wasserstein, Wendy) (p. 1950), American playwright. Born October 18, 1950 in Brooklyn (New York). She graduated from Mount Holyoke College (BA, 1971), City College of City University of New York (Master of Arts, 1973) and the dramatic school at Yale University (1976).
At City College mastered the art of writers under the guidance of Joseph Heller's and Israeli's Horowitz. In 1973 was put her first play "One of the women can not" (Any Women Can't). The first significant piece Wasserstein "remarkable woman and the other" (Uncommon Women and Others) was at Yale.
