Camilo Castelo Branco

Castelo Branco, Camil (Castelo Branco, Camilo) (1825-1890), Portuguese writer who is logged in the history of Portuguese literature under his own name - Kamil. Born March 16, 1825 in Lisbon. Conducted a hectic life: in 16 years got married, soon left his wife, changed schools, was the hero of many scandalous stories, for one of them served time in prison.
