Conen Valentine Dzhozefovna

Conen, Valentin DZHOZEFOVNA (1909-1991), Russian musicologist specializing in Western music.

Born in Baku on 29 July (August 11) 1909 in the family underground revolutionaries, who was forced in 1921 to emigrate to the U.S.. She graduated from the Juilliard School in New York on the piano, began to speak in American periodicals as a music critic.
