American musician William Nelson was born in Abbott, Texas in 1933. After his father's death and the disappearance of the mother, bringing up Willie and his sister were engaged grandparents, grandchildren, welcoming passion music. Willie chose the guitar, and in seven years he wrote his first song, Bobby played the piano.



Nelson became the first group Raychecks, they later Bobby joined the ensemble fiddler Bud Fletcher, and very soon, Willey moved to the role of frontman. In the mid-50s Nelson worked as DJ at a local radio station, and in 1956 went to Vancouver, where he recorded his debut single "Lumberjack", three thousand copies dispersed.
