Sergey Svetlakov

Sergey Svetlakov's height makes 1,89 metres, his nickname - Light.
Sergey Jurevich Svetlakov was born on December, 12th, 1977 in Sverdlovsk, nowadays Ekaterinburg, in amicable family of hereditary Ural railwaymen. Every summer the family had a rest in village where fishing was the most liked occupation.

At school "Serega Svetlak" was the ringleader of some different good, and "not absolutely good", actions: withdrew class from lessons, instigated companions to smoke, taste alcoholic drinks and kiss with girls.

By the way Sergey Svetlakov got good and excellent marks at school, was greatly interested in football and basketball, and even was nominee for handball master of sport. And the talented young man saw the future in sports.

However, after receiving the long-awaited certificate about secondary education, Sergey as an obedient son followed in the parents' footsteps. On the first course of the Ural state university of means of communication he unexpectedly became the winner in competition "Knight of institute". His photo was put on the stand. And from this time on Sergey's life cardinally changed.

University trade-union committee, having organised student's command of KVN, appointed Svetlakov its captain. Svetlakov's command 'Barabashki' performed couple of years in local assembly hall, then was renamed into 'Park of the current period' and then went to KVN festival to Sochi. After the first TV performance they suddenly became the most loved guys in Ekaterinburg.

Then Sergey employed to the local enterprise where he was responsible for freight forwarding. He also performed in his KVN command and wrote scripts for the KVN command 'Uralskie Pelmeni'. One day he had to choose between stable work and creative activity. He chose the second and joined the command 'Uralskie Pelmeni'. They toured all over the country and organized as many as 20 concerts per month. Sergey decided to stop going on tour, moved to Moscow and began writing his own scripts. A talented friendly team was formed which comprised: Garik Martirosyan, Semyon Slepakov, Djavid Kurbanov, Artur Tumasyan, Sergey Ershov. They rented a two-room flat and began to write comic scripts all day long. They wrote for 'Premiere-league', 'Higher-league'. Gradually they formed flashing variety show 'Comedy club'.


Sergey wished to create his own TV project. In 2001 he started to look for talented writers, stage directors, and initiated the scatch-show 'Our Russia', where he performed various roles together with Mikhail Galustyan. On May, 17, 2008 a new humorous programme 'Projectorparishilton' was aired, where four wisecrackers, as in a well-known anecdote, a Russian, Hebrew, Armenian and Ukrainian - Sergey Svetlakov, Ivan Urgant, Garik Martirosyan and Alexander Tsekalo discuss political, sport and different news of the last week in a humorous manner.

In 2009 charming Sergey Svetlakov was shooted in a film 'Crack', 'Save the Director'. He established with Sergey Isaev a shop of exclusive presents in Ekaterinburg, where they sell for example a pillow in the form of a boob, brush - militiaman baton, accessories for hamster-masochist - leather collar and tiny habdcuffs, set of fines for late arrival to home - rolling pins of different sizes etc.

Svetlakov has a devoted wife Yulya, they bring up a two-year old daughter Nastya. It is the most valuable present that his wife gave him.
