Paolo Troubetzkoy

February 15, 1866
Russian sculptor Paul (Paolo) Petrovich Troubetzkoy was born in 1866. The representative of Impressionism. Troubetzkoy has created a very beautiful statuettes ( 'Leo Tolstoy on the horse', 1900). The author of the famous equestrian statue of Emperor Alexander III in St. Petersburg, opened in 1909.
