Graduated from Ivanovo Power Engineering Institute, then Kostroma Technological Institute.
In 1964 - 65 Chu worked as a mechanic cloth factory (r. Shuya Ivanovo region).
In 1966 - 69 - Electric Mozhginskogo mills Udmurt republic production department of the Ministry of cereal and feed mill industry of the RSFSR (r. Mozhga Udmurt ASSR).
In 1969 a short time was an electrician Chu poultry. In the same year he became a laboratory assistant, then a master of industrial training, a teacher of special disciplines Shuyskiy Industrial College.
