Yuri Pilipenko was brought to trial on charges under Article. 206 of the Criminal Code (disorderly conduct related to the application of moral and moral damage). The charge stems from the fact that on 1 April 1995 "interlocutor" as an April Fool's joke published a special edition titled "Mother". Issue was dedicated to the origin of Russian obscenities and, respectively, in materials containing obscene words. Attorney General's Office found the newspaper an "affront to public morality" and opened a criminal case. The hearing was rescheduled several times.
