BERING Mitrofan

1889, s Understand the Penza province - 1937, Moscow. He studied art first in the Penza Theological Seminary, then in the PU OPKh y H. Roerich and A. Rylova. Took part in the revolutions of 1905 and 1917. In 1918 - member of the Revolutionary Committee of the Tomsk province. In 1917 he played from a nature pencil portrait of Lenin. He lived in Tomsk, then in Moscow. Member AHRR. Since 1925, has repeatedly traveled to the North, took part in a voyage to the Arctic Ocean, including the icebreaker "Sedov" in 1933.
