1925, Leningrad. He studied at the Art School in Leningrad (1937-41), in the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after VI. Fly (1944-48) at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin (graduated in 1956). Member of Russian and foreign exhibitions since 1956, solo exhibitions were held in Leningrad in 1981 and 1996. Author thematic paintings, landscapes, still lifes. Artist acute, sometimes ruthless vision, the master of chiaroscuro, which give the image a character value. Works are stored in the SRM, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl Art Museum, the Kazakh State Art Gallery, etc.. museums and private collections in Russia, CIS and foreign countries.
